SOUTH VISIT / NATURE LOVERS DURATION: TEN DAYS OMO VALEY
Day 1-Drive from Addis to Hossanna visit Melka Quntture Archealogical site, Adadimariam church, Tiya stelae and rural villages. Overnight Hossanna
Day 2-Drive from Hossanna to Arbaminch, on the way visit the superb Landscape of South Ethiopia. Overnight Arbaminch in a hotel.
Day 3-Morning visit Dorze village, in the afternoon drive to Netchisar National park . Overnight Arbaminch in hotel.
Day 4- Drive to Mago National Park , on the way visit Tsemai, Bena & Ari tribes. Overnight camping at Mago.
Day 5- Drive across the Mago river in to the high lands of the Omo river and visit Mursi villages, Overnight camping at Mago.
Day 6- Drive to Murle on the way visit karo village and wild life. Overnight Murle camping.
Day 7- Drive from Omorate visit the brume and back to Omo rate Overnight camping on the bank of the river.
Day 8-Drive from Omo rate to Turmi visit the Godeb, Hammer people. Overnight Turmi camping.
Day 9-Drive to chew Bahir dead Lake after an early lunch & proceed to Erbore and Tsemi village. Overnight Arbaminch in ahotel.
Day 10-Back to Addis.
North visit / historical tour DURATION-FIVE DAYS DEPARTURE:AM(BY AIR) BAHIR DAR, GONDAR , LALIBELA AND AXUM
Day 1-Fly to Bahir Dar and drive to the magnificent Tiss Issat Falls , Afternoon make a tour of the town. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 2-Transfer to the Airport and sightseeing of the town. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 3- Transfer to the Airport and fly from Gondar to Lalibela. Visit the 11 rock-hewn churches. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 4-Transfer to the Airport and fly to Axum . Afternoon sightseeing tour of Axum . Overnight at a hotel.
Day 5-Transfer to the Airport and fly back to Addis.
DURATION-TWELVE DAYS DEPARTURE: AM (BY SURFACE) BAHIRDAR, GONDAR , LALIBELA & AXUM
Day 1-Leave Addis at 6:00 am and drive to North passing by Mt. Entoto through the suluta plain, visiting the monastery of Debre Libanos and the Portuguese Bridge. Then, proceed to the spectacular scenery of the Blue Nile George, where you stop for your picnic lunch and proceed to Bahirdar. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 2-After an early breakfast drive to the Blue Nile falls,”Tississat”.Up on return, a sightseeing tour of Bahir Dar, After lunch, you will have a four hour boat excursion of Lake Tana, to visit the monastery of Ura kidane Mihret. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 3-Break fast in a hotel, and then drive to Gondar through the Fogera plain and Addis Zemen Mountain and Tara monastery, check in at a hotel, have your lunch and in the afternoon be at leisure. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 4-Visit the city of Gondar , with its castles and churches dating back to 1632. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 5- Early breakfast and drive North of Gondar through the chins of Semien Mountains and the Tekeze river valley to the ancient town of Axum . Overnight in a hotel.
Day 6-Sightseeing tour of Axum including the Steal, Tombs, the ancient church of St.marry Zion the runis of palaces and Museum. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 7- Leave Axum and drive to Debre Damo, the oldest monastery in Ethiopia (only for Men) and proceed to Mekele. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 8-After breakfast, Leave Mekele and drive through Ambalage chains of Mountains and having your Lunch at a hotel; Proceed to Lalibela. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 9-Visit the 11 rock hewn church dating back to the 12th century. Overnight Lalibela in hotel.
Day 10-Optional Excursion to one of the churches outside the town of Lalibela . Overnight in a hotel.
Day 11-Leave Lalibela after an early breakfast &stop for a picnic Lunch in Dessie. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 12-Depart Dessie for your return to Addis.
